“I grew up in country Victoria and moved to Melbourne to study medicine at Monash University.

I now live locally to Cabrini Hospital with my wife and three young children.

After completing my specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Monash Health, I completed a two-year Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery Society (AGES) fellowship in advanced reproductive and reconstructive pelvic surgery.

During this training I was awarded the prestigious AGES travelling fellowship, taking me to Chicago to work with Dr Charles Miller, a world expert in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery.

After this I continued my fellowship training in reproductive medicine and IVF at the Royal Women’s Hospital and Melbourne IVF, while completing a Masters in reproductive medicine at the University of New South Wales.

The extra surgical and IVF training that I have been privileged to do is very uncommon in my field of medicine.
